Lucy (played by Academy Award winner Jennifer Connelly), a former child actor, seeks enlightenment at a retreat led by spiritual leader Elon (played by Golden Globe winner Ben Whishaw) while she navigates her close yet turbulent relationship with her stunt-performer daughter, Dylan (Alice Englert). This debut feature written, directed and starring New Zealander Alice Englert had its International Premiere at the 2023 Sundance Film Festival as part of the World Cinema Dramatic Competition. The film was shot across beautiful Central Otago and features a force of kiwi actors including Ana Scotney (MILLIE LIES LOW), Beulah Koale (TV series Hawaii Five-0) and singer-actor Marlon Williams (TV series Sweet Tooth).
