Parties are hugely popular at EVENT Cinemas. We
can offer screenings and recommend or book a choice of films with
behind the scenes projection tours for party guests. For more

Charity Screenings
EVENTCinemas
is available for charity screenings, giving exclusive use of the
cinema during your hire. We provide full staffing and ensure the
safety and comfort of your audience. Please give us as much notice
as possible when planning an event, in order to ensure your choice
of date.

Whether it's a customer appreciation event, an employee family
day or a company celebration a touch of movie magic will make your
event one to remember.

Rialto Cinemas can seat between 36 - 350 people (depending on
venue), and can provide you with multi-media facilities, digital
sound and those great big screens! We are able to host private
screenings of films currently playing as well as early preview
screenings.
We also have a range of catering and candy options available,
from as little as $3 per person.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What days can I have a
screening?
A:
You can generally have private screenings on Monday or
Wednesday nights or anytime Monday - Friday, before 5pm. Some
Thursday nights and Sundays from 8:30pm
are also available.
Q: What time can I have
a private screening?
A:
Private screenings can start between 6 - 6:30pm or from
8:30pm onwards
(Sunday screenings are only available from 8:30pm).
Q: What films can I screen?
A:
Generally, we are able to offer you any film currently
playing at the cinema and in most instances advance screenings of
films before they release. At times we can source specifically
requested films, although these may incur an additional
charge.
Q: Do I have to screen a
film?
A:
Our cinemas can be used for a number of things, including
laptop or dvd presentations, seminars or conferences, either
instead of or in addition to, screening a film. Please contact us
to discuss these options and costs in detail.
Q: How much does it
cost?
A:
The costs for cinema hireage are dependent on location,
cinema size, timing and film selection (see each cinema's Private
Screening Information sheet above for a more detailed breakdown).
In addition, the cinemas are able offer a range of extra options.

Q: Are we able to have
drinks and/or nibbles with our screening?
A:
You certainly can - the options do vary across cinemas, so
you are best to contact the cinema directly, however all venues are
fully licensed with a selection of wines and beers on offer and are
able to organise catering. All our cinemas also offer a candy bar
combo (popcorn, coke, choctop) that are available at a discounted
rate to large groups or private screenings.
Q: How do I run a
function with my screening?
A:
The options vary between cinemas, however all offer the
opportunity for functions pre or post screening. Depending on the
nature of the function, different costs may apply for provision of
staff, glassware, tables etc. Please contact us to discuss these
options and costs in detail.
Q: How early do I need
to book my screening?
A:
Generally, the earlier the better, however we can accommodate
most requests with a minimum of 2 weeks notice.
